Create Amazing Video Training for you’re Flipped Classroom with Explain Everything

In this episode I cover my go to application for creating video based lessons using my iPad.  Explain Everything is an app that has been in the app store for over 3 years.  They are dedicated to bringing the best video lecture creation tool to teachers worldwide.  This application has become more feature rich and easier to use with every update over the last several years.

Recently the application was made available on Android, and also on the Apple iPhone. This will bring the ability to create dynamic video based lessons to an entirely new group of teachers. The application allows you to take nearly any presentation you might already have created, and import it into the application for you to narrate, annotate, and produce as a video lesson.

I also discuss the workflows we are using beyond classroom presentations, such as creating video based pre plans, and instructional videos of websites and other web based software using this amazing application.

I was wondering if you know how well this works on a Microsoft Tablet, have you heard any issues from users? Reviews are not good for Windows 8 but, those reviews are older maybe things have changed.

It seems the crashing issues they were having back in October on Windows tablets have now been fixed. I personally use iPad so I don’t have any specific feedback to pass along. I would just go ahead and give it a spin for 2.99 it has plenty of potential. This app is wonderful for instructors who want to start a flipped training program.
